Hello, First post on my epic journey of self discovery/holiday. My flight is at 8.30 this evening from Heathrow to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. No idea where I'm going to stay or how to speak Ahmaric, but that should make things interesting.
Salam Alaikum James, I trust you had a smooth flight to Dubai. I expect the airport will be somewhat different to the overwhelming awfulness of LHR Terminal 3 (like all the worst motorway service stations you have ever seen rolled into one -took me twenty minutes to find a way back to the car, by which time the parking fee was in danger of exceeding our credit limit!). Anyway we all look forward to hearing your tales as you travel south to Jo'burg -I have looked it up on the internet and come up with the figure of 4,083 km or 2,537 miles. Hope to hear more soon.
